Images
The best method to eliminate or cut an image that is already saved in our computer, in JPG format, is to cut it manually by dragging a square around the part of the image that you want to use in the new image. In order to carry on this function is using the toolbar of rectangular selection of the photography edition application
The program will show the size of the square in the bottom part of the screen. In order to establish the wanted size, you have to adjust the square, selecting Copy and you have to paste the selected part into a new image.
To obtain an antique look in an image, the best method is to use the sepia filter that proved the picture with a nostalgic touch, no matter which picture it is. Besides, is a very simple way of coloring skin tones or red colored contrasts. Sepia also turns the picture warmer than black and white. |

Web Sites – Favorites
Many times you save a great amount of web sites and that causes a complete mess when it comes to administrating them, the best tool for that is called A,M-Deadlink that turns out to be very interesting and, besides, it works with the most used explorers (Internet Explorer, Opera, Mozilla or Firefox).
You can download this wonderful application, completely free from this site www.aignes.com/deadlink.htm in order to obtain a valuable help to verify the correct functioning of the links saved in Favorites.
Its functioning is very simple: the program contacts and checks one by one and automatically all the links that you have saved. That way you can find out with a glimpse which ones have stopped being online, which function correctly, the ones that have been redirected or the ones which, even though the server works, don’t seem to respond in a reasonable period of time.
Trojans or Spies
Many times, when your computer starts to do non-asked functions, or you notice it’s slower or you just “fee it weird”, that is when you need to do a study of your PC.

Without a question, any unknown process doesn’t necessarily bring along a Trojan, but there is a possibility. In those cases you can use ProcessLibrary (www.processlibrary.com) that can help you find it out.
This data base has detailed information about doubtful processes and the DLLs (Dynamic Link Library) related. Therefore, you will be in position of deleting or nor from your system the implicated software. |
