A Firewall is a group of systems located in-between two networks and that exercises a safety politic establish by the computer user. It’s a command in charge of the protection a trustable network that is not completely trustable such as Internet.
It consists in different devises that tend to the following objectives:
1. All the traffic from the inside out, and the other way around, has to go through the Firewall.
2. only the authorized traffic, defined by the local security policy, is allowed. |
